Badminton Road Methodist Churchs Its the summer holidays whoopee! If you have never popped into our Church then why not call in this summer, you would be guarenteed of a warm welcome. We are developing new ideas that opens up the Church to the whole community we are reaching out and we need YOU! We are so much more than Sunday mornings so if you are young, older or somewhere in the middle then you will be most welcome, please come and spend some time with us. Each week we have a traditional Sunday service at 10.30a.m. A creche is available at these services for very young children. Below are our summer activites, if you want to find out more about any of these events or about any of the other work we do, please phone Jenny Bourne on 01173 309071. Messy Play Returns! Messy play was enormously successful last year, so once again we are running four sessions. The sessions are suitable for all children and young people aged 11 or below. There will be a variety of activites and sports for the children and young people plus the all important tea and cakes for the parents! The sessions are £1 per child per session be prepared to come away with lots of home made stuff! Holiday time Sunday teas: 2.30p.m 4.30p.m. If you enjoy a slice of home-made cake and a chat, then this is the place for you. We will be serving teas throughout the summer months. There will be games for the children (and adults should they wish to join in) and plenty of space in the car park for scooter or bike riding! Cafe and Toddler time Pop into the cafe on a Monday morning for a coffee and a cake. There will be toys and colouring for the under fives get together with friends or just call in and meet new people all for £1.
In addition - this summer we are excited as we are running several art & drama playscheme sessions. Places are limited on these workshops/play-schemes please book early by returning the booking form to the address given. Please enclose payment with the booking form thank you.

Four fun filled mornings of Arty Crafty fun! Mon 26th, Tues 27th, Thurs 29th & Fri 30th July @ 10a.m 12p.m Cost: £15 for the four mornings (thats only £1.87 per hour!) If you are aged between 7 and 11, then come along and try your hand at a whole range of arts and crafts. Very enjoyable time to be had! Tissue Tastic! - Mon 2nd Aug @ 10a.m. 12p.m. Cost: £3.50 (for children aged 7 11years old) Play with Clay! - Mon 9th Aug @ 10a.m 12p.m Cost: £3.50 (for children aged 7 11 years old) Make your very own weird and wonderful creatures. Em will show you how to make the basic shapes and skills you need to take home your very own clay pet! Batman, Spiderman, Charlie or Lola? - Mon 16th Aug @ 10a.m. 12p.m. Cost: £3.50 (for children aged 7 11 years old) Why not create your own wonderful character? Em will show you how to get started in creating and drawing your very own, soon to be, world famous person or creature!

Drama rama time Mon 16th Aug @ 10a.m. 12p.m. Cost: £3.50 Fast paced, fun filled drama experience for children aged 8 to 11 years old!
