Revelations What’s happening for children, young people and families at Badminton Road Methodist Church If you have never popped into our Church – then why not call in, you would be guaranteed of a warm welcome. We are developing new ideas that opens up the Church to the whole community – we are reaching out and we need YOU! We are so much more than Sunday mornings – so if you are young, older or somewhere in the middle then you will be most welcome, please come and spend some time with us. Each week we have a traditional Sunday service at 10.30a.m. A crèche is available at these services for very young children. Below are just some of the activities & events that are on offer. For more information about any of these or to find out about what else we do, please phone Jenny Bourne on 0117 3309071 or go to www.badmintonroadmethodist.org.uk Busy Bees Toddler group: Thursday‘s @10a.m – 11.30a.m. An informal and friendly group that meets each Thursday morning. Plenty of toys for the little people, coffee, tea and biscuits plus a good sing song at the end. Do pop along if you have children under school age, you will be most welcome. Green Shoots meets the first Saturday of every month@4.30p.m. Everyone is most welcome to come and share this time with us, parents, grandparents and children of any age! We tell stories, sing songs, make things and do a little bit of drama ending in cakes and a drink. All good fun!

Messy Play Returns! Weds 28th July, Weds 4th, 11th & 18th August @ 10a.m. to 12p.m. Messy play was enormously successful last year, so once again we are running four sessions. The sessions are suitable for all children and young people aged 11 or below. There will be a variety of activities and sports for the children and young people plus the all important tea and cakes for the parents! The sessions are £1 per child per session – be prepared to come away with lots of home made stuff! To be confirmed – we hope to run some half day art & drama playscheme sessions. There will be a small charge to attend these sessions and places will need to be booked. If you are interested please call the number above, forms will be available soon. |
